When creating a short link in trimy, add optional password protection and/or set an expiration date. trimy stores your password using industry-standard encryption — the original is never saved anywhere.

Send your protected link via email, message, or document. Password links look normal — the password protection is invisible until someone clicks them.

When someone clicks a password-protected link, they see a password prompt. They enter the password you specified and are redirected to your destination. Incorrect passwords are rejected immediately.
